The main collection of the museum is sculptures excavated from around dholbaha area, a place of rare archaeological value; situated at a distance of about 30 kilometers to the North-West of Hoshiarpur in Punjab. Presence of fossils and beautiful sand stone sculptures of mediaeval period. One of the museum collections, which is perhaps a very unique sculpture, is a head of Vishnu Circa 10th century A.D. The other important sculptures of historical and artistic importance are reclining Ganesha, Shiva and Parvati, female figures and a statue depicting four Jina images seated back to back. Mahisasuramardini killing Mahisa demon is also displayed.
